Today (11th of June) we caught the train to London and then a train to Paris! We arrived at our hotel (an apartment!).
Today (12th of June) I went to the Musee D’Orsay – an art museum and saw some of Vincent Van Goghs art. He is my favourite artist. I also saw the Eiffel tower for the first time and my Dad pulled my tooth out.
Our local produce market….
Today (13th of June) I went to one of the most famous churches in the world – Notre Dame.
Today (14th of June) I went to the Eiffel Tower. I went to the very top. I felt….scared, excited, small, tired (from walking up all those steps). It looked huge, dangerous and gold.
The local “rats” at Sacre Coeur
We had dinner on a boat!
Today (15th of June) we went to the Musee de L’Orangerie. We saw Monet’s Water Lily paintings. One of them had a tree in it and the leaves were weeping down to the water. When you were up close the water lilies looked like a splodge but looked like a proper water lily when you were further away.
Then I went on an overnight train. I got to go on the top bunk……YES! It was fun but I couldn’t sleep well with all the noise 😦

Good to hear your comments, your travel adventures, you look all grown up. We have had trouble popping a comment from home, I am doing this from a computer at Thoona Primary School. Love Grandma and Pa Pa XOXO
Thanks Grandma and Papa! Having a great time at the moment – just the Matterhorn – it looks hard to climb – even halfway! Dad just made a joke about us having to climb to the top!! Love Amelie

know. Keeping having a wonderful time. Love M/N/N. xxx
